Designers of Ontario. RGD Ontario represents more than 3,000 graphic designers, managers, educators and students across Ontario.

One Percent for the Planet

The environmental challenges we face are enormous. The need for businesses to lead the way is even bigger. 1% For The Planet offers a simple, tangible and proactive way for the business community to be a part of the solution. As a member company, we donate 1% of our annual revenues to an ecological cause. Our chosen recipient is the Ottawa RiverKeeper. We support them in their mission to protect the Ottawa River and have offered our design services on a pro bono basis.

Design Can Change

The collective strength of graphic designers can be used to persuade suppliers to make sustainable materials available and to lobby government to institute change. By working together, we can spread the word amongst the entire design community: sharing knowledge, encouraging a sustainable mindset and making sustainable design resources available.

The Designers Accord

The Designers Accord is a global coalition of designers, educators, and corporate leaders, working together to create positive environmental and social impact. It is made up of over 170,000 members of the creative community, representing 100 countries, and each design discipline.

Fresh Founders

Fresh Founders is a local community of young entrepreneurs. Its mission is connecting its members with the best local resources. The goal is succeeding faster by learning from each other.
